Is Practicum Strategies an approved CE provider in my state?
Practicum
Strategies is an approved CE provider in ALL states that accept Self-study
Continuing Education Courses; for all funeral service license types.
How do I know which courses to select? With the exception of State
Mandatory Courses or Categories required in some States you are free to select
any courses you like to reach the total number of credit hours you need to
fulfill your CE requirements. When you view the course list your State
Mandatory Courses and Categories are marked. If you’re still unsure call us:

How do
I order courses? Practicum
Strategies allows you to order course Online, by Phone, 800-731-4714. by Fax
800-591-6391 or by mailing your order to Practicum Strategies, PO Box 1089,
Hammonton, NJ 08037
Do I
need to set up an account or can I just order courses I am interested in when
ordering online? You will need to setup an account before ordering any
courses online. To setup an account simply follow the prompts, all information
you enter is confidential. You will be asked to select a user ID and Password
that will allow you to access your CE Records, to order Course Material or
reprint Certificates of Completion
Can I order courses for some one else under my
account? No if
you wish to order a course for someone other than yourself or for more than one
person please call Practicum Strategies at 800-731-4714
Is my personal information safe and secure? Yes,
Practicum Strategies is concerned with our client’s privacy and uses safeguards
to ensure our systems are safe and secure. Practicum Strategies uses passwords
and personal identification numbers to protect client confidentiality. All data
stored on Practicum Strategies system is secured.
What personal information does Practicum Strategies record
about me? For the purposes of creating certificates of completion and
reporting your CE credits to your state board, Practicum Strategies retains your
full name, business address, current home address, phone number and state
license number. In the event that you want to change your personal information
the system will allow you to after you have logged on using your user ID and
Password. You may not change the Funeral Service License Number that corresponds
to your name. In the event of a name change (marriage) or license number change
you will need to contact Practicum Strategies by phone.
I am
licensed on more than one state. How do I get a certificate of completion for
both States? Practicum Strategies gives you the option to print a
certificate for each State you are licensed in; there is no additional fee for
this service.
How long does Practicum Strategies maintain my course and
account information?
Your entire course history is stored permanently
and is available to you anytime for your review.
Can I
repeat a course? Each state has differing rules regarding course repetition.
Go to States Requirements for your state’s policy on course repletion.
My State requires me to include a State-assigned course
number, where do I find this?
Course numbers and/or categories are found
on the Practicum Strategies Certificates of Completion next to the course title
and the number of credit hours earned
Do you
accept credit card payments only? We accept all major credit and debit cards: Visa,
Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. If you wish to pay online using a
check you will need to enter the check routing information. If you prefer you
can complete the order form and return it with your check.
How do
I receive a receipt? When ordering online you will be able to print an invoice
after going through the checkout. If you used another form of ordering: Phone,
Fax or Mail Your receipt accompanies your order. If you wish you may also
request your receipt be faxed.
How do
I receive my course material? All of Practicum Strategies courses are available either
online or in printed format. When course material is shipped Practicum
Strategies always uses UPS Ground Service.
Are there any fees not included in the course price?
There are no additional fees for courses taken online. If you wish
course material shipped to you and you fax or mail back you quizzes for grading
additional fees will apply
If I choose online delivery, how
do I access the course material? Online courses are accessed by logging into your account,
using your user ID and Password.
Do
courses I ordered expire? No,
Practicum Strategies will honor any course ordered until it is returned for CE
Credit
Can course material be e-mailed or faxed to me? If
you are having trouble with you internet connection Practicum Strategies will
gladly email your courses to you. Course material is never
faxed.
Can I
print my online course material? Yes if that is the service you requested. Your quiz is only
available online.
What
is a passing score? A passing score is 70%.
Are
the exams timed? No, Self study courses offered by Practicum Strategies give
you the luxury of being able to stop and start allowing you to attend to other
issues in your life.
What
happens if I do not pass my quiz? If you do not pass a quiz the system will automatically give
you the opportunity to re-take it. All quizzes are in a randomized format, all
quizzes do not necessarily contain the same questions.
How many questions are on the quiz? The number of
questions varies form State to State based upon the credit hours
awarded.
When
can I access to my online quiz? All online course material and quiz are available
immediately after checkout by logging into your account.
Can I
print the test? No. Online quizzes cannot be printed and must be answered
online.
How long does it take
to get a Certification of Completion? When taking a
course online your certificates of completion is available immediately after
receiving a passing grade. If you returned your quiz for grading your quiz is
graded the day it is received. Your Certificate of Completion will be mailed no
later than the following morning. If you need your Certificate of Completion
sooner we will gladly fax you a copy after grading is complete. In the event you
failed the quiz you will receive a phone call.
What do I do if I have lost my original certificates?
Practicum
Strategies maintains your records indefinitely. You are welcome to log-in any
time to review your account and print duplicate certificates.
Does
Practicum Strategies report results to my State? Yes, Practicum
Strategies will notify you State, but we also recommend you send them a copy of
your Certificate of Completion with your renewal application.
Can I access my Practicum Strategies account records and
order new courses from any computer?
Yes, Practicum Strategies online
will allow you to access account records from any computer, after signing-in and
entering your User ID and Password. If you forgotten your password, follow the
instructions given on the screen or call 800-731-4714.
How
does Practicum Strategies use my personal information and email
address? Your
email is used exclusively for communication with you, our client. Practicum
Strategies respects your right to privacy and does not share information. Your
personal information is NEVER shared or sold. |
